Modest Cost

All of these items involve investments less than $500 or $100/mo.

• Subscription-based Email Support

  This is an entry level product. Sometimes, you just want to get an opinion from an experienced professional. Using the email support option let's you know who you are talking to and still get guidance on how to resolve your issue.

  This is advice only. I provide acknowledgement within 24 hours and a complete written response within 72 hours. If you need more support--i.e. hour(s) of time--that will be handled separately.

• Digital Research

  I know what I know. And I'm willing to tell you what my limits are fairly quickly. Still, you might want me to become more knowledgeable.

  Under these circumstances, I will request that you purchase an appropriate block of digital research hours to help me generate an appropriate answer in a reasonable amount of time.

  Research will be charged at a rate of $25/hr in a block of appropriate hours for the requirements that you have provided. You may apply for these credits HERE.

• Remote Computer Monitoring and Maintenance

  Security and availability of your computer is the most important issue in your business. If you are not adequately backed up, secured against maleware, or not aware of imminent hardware failures, you could be one of those statistics about small business failures every year.

  Having a skillful eye monitoring your system for less than the price of a breakfast sandwith per day could be the best investment you make. Together, we will make sure that your system is secure and reliable.

• Techbench Hours

  If you need me to work on a project--performing recovery, building systems, etc, I will ask for hourly payment and an initial deposit equal to 1/2 the time that I estimate will be required.

  Techbench Hours are charged at the rate of $150/hr.

• Digital Security Audit

  If you work at home in any professional capacity, you may be required to have protections in place to lower the risk that your systems will be compromised. But, you don't know what you don't know.

  A digital security audit is a collaborative process of documenting your systems, networks, and daily practices. This will help you identify specific situations or scenarios where you are unnecessarily putting your systems and livelihood at risk. Should something show up that needs to be addressed, we will then be able to talk about those issues clearly and deliberately.
